This system was created as a tool for collecting, sorting and evaluating information between Chemopetrol and foreign sales offices of the parent company Unipetrol. The system has gradually involved specialists from Chemopetrol’s specialist departments – application and technical service, quality management, logistics, as well as strategy and information centre staff, etc. The system also provides Chemopetrol with a very important feedback loop between the manufacturer and the customer, thus enabling it to respond more flexibly to market requirements. To streamline sales administration, the application is supplemented with modules for the preparation and creation of purchase contracts, calculations, transport costs and other internally focused tasks.

Technology: Communication with the SAP/R3 system is provided by web services on the application side and RPC on the SAP side.
