AMI Praha is the general partner of the Woman of the Region 2020 competition
From the beginning of April to the end of May 2020, the nomination round takes place, followed by voting for the Woman of the Region 2020 during the summer months. In October, the gala evening of the 11th edition of the competition will take place Woman of the Region and AMI Prague will be there again. We are honored to be the general sponsor of this important competition.
About the competition Woman of the Region
The national competition Woman of the Region is dedicated to all women who achieve unique results not only in their profession, but also actively participate in public life, create values, help the sick, children or animals, contribute to the improvement and development of their region and still manage to take care of their families. These are not only publicly known and successful personalities, but above all ordinary women, of whose meaningful and selfless activities the public and the media usually have no idea.
It is for them that the national competition has been announced since 2009 with the aim of recognising the efforts of these exceptional women and raising the profile of their work and achievements. The title of Woman of the Region is open to women who have achieved impressive results in the following categories:
- business, Politics and Public Administration,
- education, science and research,
- health and charity,
- arts, culture and sport.
